I want to explain a little bit more about my “what you think of me is none of my business”philosophy. I call this my living free code, because when I live in this way, I am no longer bound by trying to get someone to like me or to agree with me.
Unfortunately for those of us who have had any therapy or read a self-help book in the last ten years, we have been told the exact opposite of this. Instead we have been trained to “find our voice” and “set appropriate boundaries” so that no one will have a chance to abuse us. We have had enough abuse in our lives, so will we not allow anyone to wipe their feet on us again! This is our new battle cry.
Now here comes someone like me telling you to take responsibility only for yourself and to stay out of other people's paths. Is she crazy? This flies in the face of all that we have learned and gained over the last few years!
I assure you, I am not crazy. I am completely sane and able to live a life that I once thought was only reserved for the happy few and that was clearly not me! I was at the mercy of what life gave me and each day I was barely existing.
Today however, I realize that life is never just dealt to us. Instead, we are co-creators and co-artists in painting or sculpting whatever masterpiece we choose! We can choose to paint by numbers or we can create our own Picasso, Rodin or Michelangelo! There is no limit to what we are able to experience!
This is how it works:
Each of us is born perfect and with a perfect, divine blueprint within. Unfortunately over time, we receive bits and pieces of information and plug into collective memories that are not perfect! Our hardware is perfect, but the software we acquire is not – it is full of viruses! Yet over the years, we begin to believe that the software is right and we or the hardware is flawed! More and more we begin to see what is not perfect about us and in doing so, we reject ourselves. As we further devalue ourselves, we become attracted to others much like us – flawed, hurt and angry people.
The only way out of this for good is to do a thorough cleaning of the hardware and software – we need to debug everything! We have to get rid of all the errors and collective harmful memories in order to reset ourselves to that perfect divine blueprint. Much of this can be accomplished with an inventory of ourselves and by examining the limiting beliefs we continue to use. (There are lots of techniques for doing this and I can write about those later.)
Once we do our cleaning and clearing, we are ready to go back to the beginning and discover who we really are. I have always believed that God does not make mistakes, so there is a good bet that God did not make any mistakes in creating me! I started by looking at those labels that I had been given early on in life. These labels usually spoke to something that was innate within me.
For example, I was very, very sensitive to everything and my family considered this a weakness. They believed that I needed thicker skin to navigate this world. I have said before that because of their interpretation of my sensitivity, I began to believe that something was wrong with me.
In order to find the truth about this, I decided to ask myself the following questions: “Why would God create me as such a sensitive being? Why does this world need sensitive people? How is sensitivity a positive and not a negative?” In trying to answer these questions, I discovered my intuitive, psychic and empathic gifts! These were traits or abilities that I had always had, but I had never embraced them as such due to my old beliefs.
I am also someone who has always loved people way past their “expired by” date! I am able to care for someone no matter what, even if I am being hurt! There was a book out many years ago titled “Women Who Love Too Much” and it portrayed women like me as weak! Once again, I asked myself why God created me with this quality. In answering this, I found that I am a natural born healer!
As I “re-raised” myself with compassion and understanding, I began to realize just how special I am and how much I value and like myself. I no longer see myself as wasted potential! Instead, I know myself to be a loving, kind and powerful spiritual being. I am not a mistake!
By doing this work, I began to love myself deeply. This love is so powerful a force that it completely shifted my energy and spiritual make-up, activating a magnet within me. This is a magnet which attracts only people and experiences into my life that are meant to further me as a loving spiritual being. The people I now meet are sensitive, loving, healing and kind! Before this when I did not like myself, I was a “creep magnet”! I could always attract those people who would prey on my deepest insecurities (hence why I needed boundaries and a voice!).
Today I no longer need to worry about attracting the wrong kinds of people or experiences into my life. That just does not happen unless there is some reason I need to do this. When this happens, it is because I have a new lesson to learn or there is another old belief still hiding!
If I find that I have attracted someone or something into my life that is reminiscent of my old belief system, I stop and look at what is going on. I do not get angry with myself or at the other person. Instead, I ask why I might have needed to bring this kind of person or experience into my life today. The answer will always come to me within a day or two! Usually it is in the form of an “Ah-ha” moment which allows me to release the person or experience instantaneously. Some call this process Uncover, Discover and Discard!
Today I live in total freedom. I take full responsibility for everything I think, I feel, I say and I do. If any one of those is off, it is my duty to set it right by doing the work; however, because I love who I am today, I am inspired to do the work and to make any changes necessary that will promote my spiritual growth. I have purpose in life and am passionate about who I am and what I do.
Years ago, some people who were trying to help me told me never to quit before the miracle! Today, I know what they meant by this and I am so glad that I took their advice! Please don't quit before your miracle.

You Are Perfect
I have been working with some people who have deeply impressed me with their committment to healing and change! They are amazing, powerful, kind, loving, and courageous just to name a few attributes! I have been overjoyed with how quickly they have embraced this work and made such huge strides in healing so that their lives will forever be those of guidance, growth and wellness. They will never again face difficulties as if they are being punished! Anything that comes their way will be something they can navigate and they will know that it is there to teach them new lessons. (The good news is that you can learn how to do all of this as well...it is not a secret!) What a blessing!
So, this being said and if I could waive a magic wand, what would I want for all of you right now in this moment?
I would want you to all know that you are PERFECT BEINGS! You are perfect spiritual beings having a beautiful human experience and even if your body is not perfect right now, it can be. Within you resides a perfect divine blueprint and it contains everything that you need in life. The lesson is to learn how to access these drawings and call them back into existence.
When you were born, you were (and still are) perfect. Unfortunately though, in today's world, we spend years being told that we don't know enough, we are not old enough, we must learn more, etc. At the same time, we are bombarded with media images of what is perfection - even if it means painful plastic surgery OR time spent with an airbrush and photoshop! Is it any wonder that most of us could not look ourselves in the mirror with love and acceptance? Rather, we would scrutinize every little bump or blight and wonder how we could get rid of what we don't like!
I spent the majority of my life performing for everyone as a daughter, student, friend, lover...whatever. I was a quick study and learned how to please people and that became my addiction. I was never comfortable with myself unless I was receiving positive feedback from others. I later learned that "people pleasing" is really manipulation as it does not allow the other person to react freely and openly to me.
Today, I have become quite comfortable knowing that what you think of me is none of my business! Now that does not mean that I am allowed to be unkind or abusive. It means that I will always behave and speak with the kindness and love I would want directed towards me, but I will allow you to react or perceive me in any way that you choose. If you don't like me, I will not take it personally ...that is your right and your choice. As long as I like myself and value the spiritual being within, I am fine.
Most importantly, I know I am a perfect spiritual being who will more than likely fall into human weakness in this body and experience that I am having; however, that does not make me any less perfect - it just makes me human as well! Whenever I am faced with something that is a problem, I remember that I am here to learn and to grow spiritually, so whatever I face is just making me do that very thing.
As a perfect being, I am also connected as one with God or Source. If there is a problem that overwhelms the human Lynn, I always trust that spiritual Lynn and her Source connection can find the answer. I relax, ask for help and then get out of the way. Because I trust that the answer is on its way to me as I am asking for it, I have never been disappointed by not receiving the answer or receiving the wrong one! This has been a miracle formula for me and one that I wish I had learned a long time ago!
So, to keep this short...please, please tonight as you put your head down on your pillow, see yourself as the beautiful, spiritual being of light and love that you are! Give yourself a few minutes to really feel this deep down. Feel gratitude for the wonderful traits that you have and may not celebrate enough! Treat yourself as your very best friend before you doze off....You are perfect in every way even if you don't know it just yet...you will.
Namaste.

Intuitive Parenting
What is intuitive parenting? It is simply a process by which you allow that still, small voice to come through and speak to you about your child. It is not hearing from a place of emotion or a place of intellect; instead it is hearing from a connection to something bigger – call it spirit, God, Source or whatever works for you. When you are connected to this larger web and you are tuned into the frequency of your child, you have access to information that is precise and timely for that child at that moment. All of you as parents have experienced times with your children when you just knew something and no one could tell you differently. That is intuitive parenting and in this day and age, it is vital that you expand your skill level.
Children are incredible communicators despite the fact that they may not posses the verbal skills with which to articulate their thoughts. Additionally, children are incredibly sensitive and empathic in ways that most adults have lost. In general, children have abilities that we adults have outgrown as we have learned to operate in a world based in fear and ego.
Science and quantum physics has determined that all humans are basically energy. Although we are chemical and biological, we are primarily energy that is vibrating at certain frequencies throughout the day. We have found that in addition to our physical body, we also possess an emotional body, a mental body and a spiritual body which surround the physical body; because these additional bodies vibrate at such a high frequency, they are not as dense as the physical body and to many people they appear to be invisible.
As an intuitive and an energy worker, I am able to see and read all these different bodies. Much like tuning into a radio station, I am able to tune into the frequency of these different bodies and receive information. Consequently, I can access information that your child is communicating on a non-verbal level. In some cases, a child's emotional, mental and/or spiritual body will show areas that are in distress before the physical body has manifested this distress as an illness. In other cases, a child may already have an illness or diagnosis, but by working with their energy many of their symptoms can be addressed and minimized because the body as a whole is being fully supported.
My long term goal is to teach parents how to do this yourself so that you are always able to fully “dialogue” with your child. You already have the basic skill set; however, you need some guidance in how to get out of your head and emotions so that the true information can come through in a clear and precise manner. When I work with children, I always involve the family so that everyone can begin communicating in a new, fun way that allows all the pieces of the puzzle to be seen.

The Power of Giving
I am so thrilled as I write this because through helping someone else to heal, I have grown spiritually by leaps and bounds - all in about ONE week! Through spiritual serendipty, I came across a blog about someone who is struggling with a chronic pain disease that I myself battled for years. At the time, I was told in no uncertain terms that I was meant to reach out to this remarkable woman and help her on her spiritual journey of healing. I didn't know why I was told to do this, but I have done this long enough, that I no longer question why anymore - I follow orders and just do what I am told!
So I did and I quickly found myself helping someone who is truly amazing, deeply strong and so filled with intuitive light that she shines on me and all those around her!
What I find incredible is that almost immediately after making this connection, I began to feel a bit strange. I felt very tired, but at the same time, I was edgy and awake. Again, I have been on this journey long enough, that I knew something or some shift was coming and it was coming in a BIG way! Unfortunately, I am still somewhat impatient and as soons as I realized I was in for a growth spurt, I became very excited and could not wait to find out what it would be. Sad to say, I had to wait a bit longer and become more tired and wiped out...
Today, a new truth was revealed! As soon as my epiphany hit, I was able to jump forward spiritually, emotionally and mentally. More importantly, I was also able to release years of emotional pain that I did not realize I was still carrying! As I released this pain, I was instantly forgiving all the people who played a role in how this pain was created within my life. AMAZING! In one moment, I was enlightened and lightened of my burden! (I will share the details of the epiphany later on as it is so fresh that I wish to honor it by just allowing it to merge within me.)\\
The point that cannot be lost here is that through my work with another human being and in helping HER to heal, I also was healed! I have always believed that what I was so freely given (my own healing from chronic pain as well as a spiritual awakening) must be shared with others so that I may keep my gifts.
I hear from people all over the world who are in a tremendous amount of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual pain. The main theme that plays out over and over again for these people is how small their world becomes. They are unable to focus on anything or anyone but the pain and how unfair it is. Unfortunately, this kind of thinking is only going to attract more pain and more injustice since we do become what we think about.
My pearl of wisdom for today is this - If you are experiencing a dark night of the soul, I urge you to step outside of yourself for just a moment and offer your heart and spirit to someone who is also suffering. Give of yourself without any expectation of receiving anything in return...I guarantee you that you will not be the same person once you have done this. Either you will experience something that you never imagined could happen to or for you, or your perspective will have shifted so dramatically that your dark night will no longer seem so dark or so long.
Blessings my friends and welcome to the journey.

The True Meaning of The Snake in The Garden
Over the last ten years, I have been on a spiritual quest during which I have asked questions and have been rewarded with the most amazing answers. One of my most passionate quests has been to understand the teachings of the Bible. While most people readily accept it as “the word of God”, I realize that it has been translated many times and into many languages, edited as well and most importantly was put together by a group of men called the Nicean Council. There is clear proof that many teachings were deleted because they would not have fit with what these men sought to accomplish. Add to that the fact that for years the only people able to even read the Bible were the clergy, well...you see my point.
In my searching, I am often intuitively “hit” with knowledge. Sometimes I will get some information and it just rings true to me; the following is one of these bits of truth. If you don't agree with it, fine. If you do, fine. The point is for all of us to find what we need to find as it relates to our relationship with God. I share this with you to provoke thought and discussion within your family and group.
For most of us growing up, we were told that the serpent represented our fall from grace into sin as man was given and chose free will; however, for me that never rang true. I puzzled over why God would create man/woman in his own image (which is perfection) but then create a serpent to more or less set him/her up to fail? This just never made sense to me.
After doing some meditation and reading, I had my answer! The snake and the decision to eat the fruit actually represents man/woman's separation from God; at that moment, man/woman began to look outside of himself/herself for answers (or for God). The kingdom in that moment, became something to seek outside of man/woman. Free will was not created in this moment but separation from God was.
The serpent says, “if ye shall eat of this tree (the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil) your eyes shall be surely opened and ye will be like God.” It is clear that as man/woman's eyes open, they begin to look outside themselves for answers and truth. From this point on, is man/woman is no longer one with God. (When man/woman were one with God, free will was a lot less dangerous.)
Jesus then came to teach us or to help us remember that “the kingdom of Heaven is within”. Jesus had, through the practice of his meditations and fasting, become one with God or Christ-consciousness. That was the crux of his teaching. We as humans could become Christ-consciousness if we allowed ourselves to remember that “the father is within me and of myself, I can do nothing.” Once we stop looking outside of ourselves for The Kingdom, we find God within and can attain more than what Christ attained: “Verily, verily I say unto you. He that believeth in me, the works that I shall do, he shall do also; and greater than these shall he do...”
We are also assured by Jesus of this: “To him that overcometh, will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” In this sense, overcometh means that we find God again within ourselves and stop looking outside for any answers. At that moment, when we become one with God again, we are allowed back into the Garden and may eat of the Tree of Life. What a wonderful blessing and something to which we may all aspire.

Why? What is life about?
Recently, I received news that someone I know who is homeless by choice had attempted suicide. He once told me that he had been clean and sober for almost 8 years and during that time, he held a job in a recovery house; unfortunately, all along he was not any happier as a sober, functioning human being than he had been as a homeless non-participating member of every day life.
Today I found out that another person that I know but have not seen in quite a while died. She was young and had young children. Apparently, she was very ill but refused to go to the hospital or call a doctor. When paramedics arrived, they were shocked that her family and friends had not insisted that she seek medical attention prior to that day. And now she was gone and her kids were without a mother at very young ages.
On the heels of all this news, the Holidays just having passed and a move that nearly killed me, I started thinking about a bigger picture. What is it that we are doing here in this game called life? Why are we here?
Is life just about getting a job, paying bills and maybe being able to afford a house or raise children? If we are lucky enough to find our passion and give back to the world, does this make life meaningful enough?
And what about the people out there who just cannot navigate this world as it is? How do we treat the ones who prefer to be homeless and not part of the mainstream? And what about a young woman who is a mother who chooses not to seek medical attention and dies because of this decision?
What is more disturbing to me is that these are not unfamiliar scenarios in today's world. Why is this? What has happened that these situations exist at all in a world with so many resources?
The other day I was struggling with my family, my life, my work and so much more that I had been in a great deal of fear...even bordering on panic attacks. I needed to know what was going on - what was I doing here? So I went into a really calm, meditative state and suddenly, I heard a voice that was so clear telling me that my life is about love. I am here to learn how to love and to teach others how to love without ego, expectation or judgement. Every heartache, every trial and tribulation is about learning to love the pure way -the way we are loved by whatever Creator we believe breathed life into this beautiful Universe.
And that was it...I knew every answer to every question I have every had. It is that simple and yet, that hard...loving EVERYONE without making judgments or assessments - just loving them because they are part of this big world we call Earth or Gaia! That is why we are here! That is what it is all about. The key is love.
